Claudia is the best skin esthetician in San Diego!
My skin concerns change with the seasons, so I usually book a “facial placeholder” with Claudia because she’ll take the time to evaluate my skin’s condition, skincare regime and overall lifestyle before recommending an appropriate treatment. She even provides insight to which treatments work in combination (within in your personal budget), aftercare suggestions, skincare ingredients to focus on, foods/vitamins for healthier looking skin and other informative tidbits.
Claudia genuinely loves her profession, cares for her clients, stays updated with the industry and is most likely a perfectionist; she takes her time with my skin and answers all the random questions I come up with. Plus, it’s great being able to walk out of the office with instantly radiant skin which improves in the coming days (i.e. the HydraFacial)!
She’s extremely accommodating and periodically checks in on my skin via text; I highly recommend Claudia for your next treatment!
I was visiting my mom and had a breakout, something I thought I was done with in high school, but that’s been happening a lot more . I called around based on Yelp reviews and Kris was able to fit me in and worked me around another client (she has two rooms ) just to help. She is incredibly knowledgeable about skin; she was able to figure out one of the reasons I’ve been getting these breakouts just from talking to me and the reason blew me away (I never knew some vitamins can cause acne).
You could barely see the breakout when I left. She customized the facial based on what she could see needed to be done – and it was brilliant . The next day I ended up booking regular appointments and buying the skin care line. Normally I’m reticent to buy product – and Kris didn’t push me to buy at all, I just loved the way the samples she gave me made my skin feel and look. I don’t drive farther than five miles for hardly anything – but SKIN is well worth the drive and I’m genuinely excited to see how my face improves from regular appointments. It’s been four days now and my skin is looking and feeling amazing.
I just had my second facial with Kirstin and it was amazing ! What the heck have I been missing all my life?!?! They definitely give you the red carpet treatment each and every visit . I don’t take very good care of my skin but the girls at skin have made it so easy and have texted me step by step of what I need to do which makes everything so much easier! Going in I had no idea what to expect but Kirstin explained everything to me.., she was super nice and did such a great job. My skin feels so clean and fresh and everything says it’s glowing. I feel like it can breath again. She also recommended ways for me to improve my skin and keep things in the right direction. I definitely recommend this highly skilled aesthetician. I would also like to thank the front desk staff both Yaz and Joanna they are both so friendly and extremely helpful !! These girls are all so great the fairy godmothers of aesthetics
Skin is hands down THE BEST EVER! I had terrible (and I mean truly awful) acne from age 11 through my early 30s. I tried a few other skincare places in my 20s and had zero results. A good friend told me about Skin and the owner, Kris. Talk about life changing…I went from wearing daily makeup and feeling really awful about my skin to wearing zero makeup and absolutely loving my skin! Kris and her team are magicians, and the nicest people. It’s a total experience – luxurious, relaxing and life changing. I’ll never stop going.
