At home Skin Tightening Treatments and Breakout Solutions
Here are some at home skin tightening treatments and breakout solutions for when you are all geared up for New Year’s Eve and all of a sudden, a huge pimple comes out of nowhere. What do you do? Well, first of all, don’t pick at it. When we are in a pinch and we have a pimple, there can be wrong moves and it is easy to cause unnecessary scaring and irritation. I suggest keeping it calm. Here are some at home remedies and Breakout Soulutions when you can not get into SKIN by Kris or find an Esthetician. These home remedies are proven methods to cure any surprise skin issues.
Rule AND (REPEAT) DO NOT break this rule:. First of all, don’t scrub or squeeze the blemish. Don’t scrub or squeeze anything. Regenerate your skin cells with steam and essential oils whenever possible. I recommend peppermint or lavender essential oils. I personally like Elemis Essential Oils. If you don’t have these on hand, don’t worry. I have Breakout Solutions! I know that these treatments and ingredients are standard in everyone’s, I mean everyone’s home. Here are a few of my favorites:
1. ICE
ICE will bring down the inflammation and decrease the redness and irritation. Ice is a vasoconstrictor. Icing the blemish will cut off the blood flow to the area. Therefore, decreasing the redness and reducing the swelling.
2. HONEY
Honey is an antibacterial and naturally tightening miracle. Honey is soothing and gentle on the skin. Honey also acts as a natural anti inflammatory and blemish clearer. Use honey mixed with apple cider vinegar or your favorite antioxidant tea to lighten and tighten your skin! Remember to use raw honey and try to go for organic as well.
3. TOOTHPASTE
Spot treat your blemish by applying a generous amount of toothpaste to the area. Toothpaste contains a variety of bleaching and drying ingredients to give you a quality cut fix solution. This is not something to do on the regular. Toothpaste can irritate the skin and cause more inflammation if done more then the diar straits situations in which we are covering. I recommend following up your toothpaste application with a light coat of Neosporin or
4. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Apple Cider Vinegar is a cost effective natural way to Ph balance the skin. It contains alphahydroxy acids which exfoliate and cleanse your face without leaving it dry or compromised. Using apple cider vinegar with a little water is a great quick fix to exfoliate without irritating.
