With March 8th being the start of Daylight Saving time, sunrise and sunset will be about an hour later than the day before. Gone are the dark and gloomy evenings. Celebrate by shedding some light on your skincare routine.
This is a great time to inventory your winter staples, (think Creme Masque Vernix) and add some lighter, more fluid items to your menu, putting away the heavy creams.
Transition your skincare to Daylight Saving Time
You may find that March is a transitional month for your skin. Hidden away under layers you may still have dry patches and your cheeks might be a little redder than usual. When you think of lighter skincare, think of Hydrating serums instead of heavy creams.
Hydrating serums include, Hydracool, Extraits Tissulaires, Amniotique E., and Colostrum. This way you will maintain the hydration in your skin without weighing it down.
Turn in all heavy creams until fall. Don’t worry, they will stay good for at least 12 months. I like to start using Creme Pigm 400 or VIP 02 during the Spring. Creme Pigm 400 gives you a natural glow while lightening brown spots and preventing new pigment from forming. And, Creme Vip 02 features anti-pollution properties to protect the skin from environmental damage and help prevent signs of aging. With active ingredients that include cellular oligopeptide of mink and Hyaluronic Acid, Creme VIP O2 effortlessly brightens, rejuvenates, and hydrates skin.
Last but not least, SUNSCREEN!
Finally I like to mix my Serum De Teint with iS Clinical Perfect Beige TInt SPF. Serum De Teint Protects as a shield against urban particulate pollutants and free radicals induced by solar radiation (UV rays, blue light, infrared radiation) While iS Clinical Eclipse Perfect Beige Tint has an ultra sheer, broad spectrum SPF50 formulation provides UVA/UVB protection. Formulated for daily use and extended outdoor activities, ECLIPSE SPF 50+ quickly absorbs for a non-greasy matte finish.
